ServicePal is integrated with Google Maps and Google address validation, allowing you to easily locate customers.

By using Google address validation, you can increase the accuracy of service locations for your customers and minimize typos in addresses.

See the article "Using Google address validation"

By entering your business location, or connecting ServicePal to your Google My Business listing, ServicePal allows you to specify your service area.

Optionally, ServicePal can alert you when customers are located outside your service area and is subject to a trip charge.

Users must have Administrator role to enable the the trip charge alert.

From the Google Maps setting screen,

1. Switch the Trip Charge alert on.

2. Specify your service area

3. When editing a customer, use Google address validation to pick the service location for the customer.

4. After selecting the address, the trip charge badge will show, if applicable.

Once the address has been validated by Google, the distance from your business to a customer service location is calculated.

The trip charge is shown on the customer screen, and for all jobs pertaining to that service location.
