While larger companies prefer to schedule and dispatch jobs using the Calendar in ServicePal for Office, you can also add jobs using ServicePal for iPad.
A user of any role can add or schedule a job, but only the user of role Manager or Administrator is able to schedule other resources for the job.
Adding a job
1. Tap +
2. Choose a customer
3. Tap an existing customer, or tap + to add a new customer
4. Once you have chosen a customer, it will appear on the clipboard. In the job Description field type what the nature of the problem is; and, tap on Type and Status fields. If you do not specify Job starts, Job ends or a technician, the job will be located on the Unscheduled list instead of the calendar. Tap the Save button.
