ServicePal makes sending electronic invoices easy.


Here's how you do it.


1. Using ServicePal for iPad, open a job from the calendar.

2. Tap on the plus sign (+) to attach a form to this job.

3. Select the desired form, in this case the Invoice form.

4. After you've attached the Invoice form to this job, next you can tap on it to open it.

5. Add items to your invoice.

6. If you charge sales tax, select the appropriate sales tax rate.

7. Tap the send icon and select email to send the invoice to a customer.

1. Find that job on the calendar and tap on it to open it.

2. Tap on the plus sign (+) to attach a form to this job.



3. Select the desired form, in this case the Invoice form.



4. After you've attached the Invoice form to this job, next you can tap on it to open it to fill it out.



5a. Add items to your invoice by tapping the Choose Item button.



5b. Just tap on the blue dollar amount to pull that item into your form.



6a. If you charge sales tax, select the appropriate sales tax rate.

7a. Tap the send button and select email to send the invoice to a customer.



7b. Select Email (note: it's a good idea to look at a Preview with your customer to make sure it looks good before emailing it.)



7c. Tap the Send button.




Alternatively, an Invoice form or any other form can also be attached to a job while the job is being added; in other words, at the time the job is being scheduled, as follows:

1. From the Jobs calendar screen, add a job by tapping "+" icon in the upper right corner.

2. Tap "add form" to show a drop down list of your published forms.

3. Select the Invoice form or any other form.

4. Tap "Save".

Follow the screenshots 4-7 above to fill out and send the Invoice to your customer's email address.
