The text messages sent by ServicePal are driven by templates that can be configured by you.


Users must have Administrator role to add or modify the templates.


The templates are found in the Settings menu, under Text Messaging.


ServicePal comes with both default customer and technician templates out-out-the-box. 

You can edit the default templates, or add new customer templates by clicking (+)


When creating or editing a template, you have several merge tokens available.


The merge tokens are placeholders that will be replaced with data once the text message is sent. This allows you to have templates that be re-used across your customer base.


You can either insert a token by clicking on it, or typing it into the message. It's important that the curly brackets { } enclose the token.


To preview what the message look like, click "Save"
